About this course
Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Course delivery
This course is offered as a face-to-face course. Pre-course online learning is required.
Course duration
Pre-Course Online Learning 1 hours
For the standard course – Face to Face minimum duration is 2 hours.
Pre-requisites
There are no formal prerequisite units required for entry into this course. Learners will require English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills
Assessment requirements
Assessment including CPR techniques will be a requirement on training day.
Students will complete their theory assessment as part of their online leaning prior to the face-to-face training day. No pen and paper quizzes will be required on training day.
Course renewal requirements
The statement of attainment is valid for 12 months and should be updated annually.
